resort support team.

Dip into all walks of resort life.

The Resort Support Team role is essential for the smooth running of our resorts and covers a multitude of roles, from Maintenance and Drivers, to Reps and Chalet Assistants. This position is for the person who is able to demonstrate a broad range of skills and flexibility, is highly motivated and who relishes variety in their role. These positions let you dip in to all walks of resort life, providing support to chalet hosts and resort management whilst helping to ensure our guests have an excellent holiday.

the role.

This position runs from mid November to late April

There are several Support Team roles, which may be purely chalet based, or can include a combination of the below responsibilities:

  • Driving: In some resorts we operate a guest shuttle service in the morning and evening, but our drivers also support the team by carrying out shopping trips and helping move equipment and stores around resort.  If appointed in a Driving Resort Support role you will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the van. To qualify, you will hold a valid driving licence and ideally have driven minibuses or in snowy conditions before.

  • Maintenance:  Each resort needs a Resort Support Maintenance person.  Working in liaison with the Senior Maintenance Manager, you will work hard to prioritise and resolve any maintenance issues which crop up in resort.  A working knowledge of carpentry, electrics and plumbing are essential, as well as a desire to solve problems and put our guests at the centre of everything you do.

  • Repping:  Each Saturday our guests are escorted to and from Lyon airport by our capable and proactive Reps.  Some Resort Support staff will be called upon to Rep coaches on the weekends. You will take responsibility for the smooth transfer of your guests, from liaising with the coach driver to knowing your way around the airport.  During the return to resort, you will be required to sell ski packs to your guests, and arrange the associated orders, processing and paperwork. You may be required to visit some guests as a Rep during their holiday, dealing promptly with any issues that arise.

  • Chalet Hosting:  All Resort Support staff will have some Chalet Hosting responsibilities.  Whether that be assisting in a chalet, or in some cases running a chalet single-handed to cover for illness or injury.  For this reason we require all of our Resort Support staff to have a clear understanding of the Chalet Host role and the confidence and ability to step in when required.  If Resort Support staff have responsibilities as outlined above, then these would usually take priority over helping in chalets, but it is essential that our Resort Support staff are flexible and willing to undertake roles driven by the needs of the business.
