Ski Beat’s French operation, where this role is based, is located in Bourg-St-Maurice at the foot of the Paradiski area. Our head office is in Dublin and our Sales & Marketing team are located in our Brighton office.

 

Ski Beat is recognised internationally for our adoption of Lean Management processes, which have enabled us to achieve substantial improvements in customer and employee satisfaction and commercial performance, including maintaining profitability throughout the Covid crisis.

the role.

 

Ski Beat seeks an Accounting Technician or person with equivalent industry experience to manage the day-to-day finances of the company’s French operation.

 

While there is a strong emphasis on Accounts Payable, this is a broad role which also covers Accounts Receivable, Banking, Payroll and Taxation. You will also be responsible for month-end reconciliations and assisting with year-end Audit preparation.

 

Reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller in Dublin, the successful candidate will be an active member of Topflight Travel Group’s small finance team.

We are looking for bright, enthusiastic candidates with the following:

 

  • Accounting Technician qualification or equivalent industry experience.

  • Strong commercial acumen and an analytical approach to problem solving.

  • Competent IT skills, particularly in the use of spreadsheets and modern finance systems.

  • Fluent spoken and written French and English.

  • Legally entitled to work in France on a full-time, permanent contract.

  • Experience in the hospitality or ski industry an advantage.

  • €32,000 to €35,000 annual salary depending on experience plus bonus scheme linked to company performance.
